The Central Pennsylvania Observers are a small group of amateur astronomers here in the center of our state. We try to actively offer and share our efforts with the community. Our monthly meetings give us a forum to discuss ideas and the latest events while our Skywatches give us a regular venue to share our telescopes with the public and generate more interest in astronomy. Our biggest adventure each year is the highly successful Black Forest Star Party at the end of summer. We will help members to attend events that will improve their knowledge of programs and equipment such as the North East Astronomy Forum. Grab N Gos are becoming a regular feature for some of our members. If something special is happening in the sky we will try to share it as we did with the Transit of Mercury recently. I hope that we can encourage you to be a regular with our new website as we will strive to keep it updated and useful.
Clear skies everyone, Bob Baumbach
