Membership

Our meetings and electronic mailing list are open to everyone. Official membership with voting privledges, however, requires payment of club dues. Dues are currently $20 per year. Part of your dues goes to enroll each member in the Astronomical League. The remainder of the funds are used for operating expenses, and for efforts to increase our membership through advertising and outreach functions. Some of our funds are also set aside for expenses which will help our organization to grow and to become more exciting for both our present and future members.

Magazine Discounts

A discounted subscription to Sky & Telescope magazine (either new or renewal) can be purchased through the club for $32.95 a year - this is a $10 discount off the regular price. Contact the club treasurer to obtain the proper forms which must be included with your payment. Please note that this offer is available to dues-paying members ONLY.

We also offer discounted subscriptions to Astronomy magazine. The club member subscription rate is $29 for one year and $55 for 2 years. Contact the club treasurer for the details.
